SOOC Saturday : Three magic words

In my sisterhood

The sisterhood of mothers whose children cannot speak well or at all.

We say this often

"When will I hear those magic words ....

I love you ....mommy"

Not me

I have my share of longings

But, those words are something, I have never yearned  for

While R may not say those  words

I hear them everyday

What a lovely photo. You will hear the words one day, but you they are in his eyes. You are such a great mom.

So many ways to show love. It's there to see with no words at all. Your picture here speaks for itself.

Awwww! You're going to make me cry!! That photo speaks volumes of the love between the two of you...and his body language screams it. The words would be nice, but it's good to know you don't need the words. Thank you for that... I needed a reminder to see the other ways D tells me- and he does- instead of mourning the absence of those 3 little words. ((hugs))

I am sooo inspired and heartened by your blog. My precious grandson, age 16 months, is in the process of being evaluated; he most likely falls within the autistic spectrum. We, of course, are stunned, scared and unsure of the future...reading blogs such as yours has given me strength and hope for the days ahead. No matter what the future holds for him and our family, we will love and treasure him for the wonderful, precious soul he is.

Another random week in 2020

Everything that I could say about 2020 has probably been said.  On the whole,  its not as bad as it could have been because I am with my tw...
