SOOC Saturday :Courage

I am not the sort of person who likes to hang by a wire between two mountains

But here I am

On my way in the sky to the top of a mountain in Utah.

On my way up so I can come down hanging by a wire!

Petrified but determined

Look at me

I may have fear

But I am courage

Somedays it feel that what  stops me, is my own fear

And as I zip down  on this rope over a valley -so breathtakingly beautiful that you say a silent prayer to God's art.

As I zip down the rope at 45 miles an hour, so full of exhilaration, really it feels like  I am flying

I start to wonder about all the other things, feelings and experiences that I could have if I let go of fear...

What would you do if you were mastered  fear?

Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared.”

sounds like fun,and Utah is very beautiful...

isn't if crazy how we all fear different things, but the base line for overcoming it is pretty much the same for all things...

So glad you are having a great time.

Look at you! You don't look scared at all! Sounds like so much fun (although I am afraid of heights.) I absolutely love that quote about courage!

You know-I always read but don't always comment-there are just so many ways to say you write beautifully. :)
You are a brave woman-I have this fear that if I actually attempted a zip kids at the last minute would jump on..and we would become this massive force of nature zipping down the mountain...which I guess we already are..:)I just prefer the analogy to the reality-I have a terribly desperate fear of heights..;0

Wow, I would have been terrified! You are brave :).

I love this line:
"I may have fear. But I am courage."

This is the pep talk I give myself when I realize I am shutting out too many things and resisting change. Brava!

You look very confident in this picture. I always enjoy reading your posts and seeing what is new.

Look at you, facing fears!
A few years ago, my husband and I were on a ferris wheel and we were at the top. He asked me, "are you scared?" Without missing a beat, I said, "this stuff doesn't scare me anymore. Spending the rest of my life with Autism scares me."
I get it.

Another random week in 2020

Everything that I could say about 2020 has probably been said.  On the whole,  its not as bad as it could have been because I am with my tw...
